Noel Borg Facility Manager, Casa Arkati, Mosta
A qualified nurse by profession, and having worked in the cardiac intensive care unit at Mater Dei Hospital, Noel joined the group in October 2005 as a staff nurse and later on the years as a deputy manager. Last year Noel was appointed as Facility Manager of Casa Arkati Mosta where he is responsible for the overall management of the home. Noel holds a Diploma in Health Science (Nursing), BSc. (Hons) Nursing, International Diploma in Human Resources and Personnel management and is currently reading for an M.A. in Bioethics Qualifications.
Robert Grech Facility Manager, Villa Messina, Rabat
A Physiotherapist by profession since 1989, Robert joined the group in September 2009 as Facility Manager of Villa Messina Home in Rabat and has been running the home’s operations since then. Robert holds a Diploma in Physiotherapy and a Diploma in Management.
Elke Sghendo Facility Manager, Roseville, Attard
A Qualified nurse by profession who worked with private and government hospitals for 16 years, Elke joined the group in July 2009 as Facility Manager for Casa Arkati where she managed the running of the home for a year. In 2010 she was given the opportunity to take over the operations of the new private home as Facility Manager of Roseville. Elke holds a Diploma in Sales Marketing and Management, Diploma in Social Studies (OHS) and recently completed a course in project management.
Paul Pace Lead Facility Manager, Mellieha Home & Prince of Wales Apartments
Paul comes from the Hospitality Industry with 16 years of experience in 4 and 5 star hotels locally and abroad, managing the hotel accommodations and the Room Division dept. In January 2008, he joined the Group as Facility Manager responsible for the operations and running of Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieha, which was officially inaugurated on March 2008. In 2009, Paul was also appointed Facility Manager of Prince of Wales Independent Living apartments and till today he successfully runs these two facilities.
Lee Xuereb Facility Manager, Zejtun Home
A Masters graduate in Occupational Psychology, Lee comes from a Social Services background having worked with Caritas for a number of years. In August 2008, Lee joined the group as Central Support Manager where he also assisted Zejtun, Bormla, Villa Messina and Casa Arkati. For the past year and a half, Lee now manages only Zejtun Home were he oversees and coordinates all the aspects of running the home.
Janet Silvio Facility Manager, Cospicua Home
A qualified accountant by profession, Janet joined Care Malta on 30th June 2009 following her return to Malta after an 18-month career break during which she travelled in South-East Asia, the Indian subcontinent and Australia. As Facility Manager of Cospicua Home, Janet oversees and coordinates all the aspects of running the home. Janet graduated in accounts and management in 2001 through the Malta Institute of Accounts and has been a warranted accountant since 2003. Janet is also the editor of Caremalta’s first publication ‘100 women,100 stories’ launched in March 2011 to mark the 100th anniversary of the International Women's Day.
