Officially opened on 1st March 2008 and completed in a record of 323 days. This is the third Government Home to be completely sub contracted to CareMalta Group.
Residents can enjoy various open air terraces with breath-taking views of the Maltese Fliegu including Gozo and Comino.
The Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieha is a community home which not only provides accommodation for older persons but also offers health services to the locals through the adjacent ‘berga’. It also incporporates a Day Centre and provides a night shelter through a designated area in the home.
