Officially opened on the 13th of March 1994, Żejtun Home was the first Public Private Partnership between the Government of Malta and  CareMalta. The facilty is built on three levels, with a lovely central courtyard, a private garden and an in-house chapel.  It has a large dining room on each floor level and also links to the adjacent Day Centre.

The facility has a dependency level area where residents are catered with a room service. Activity rooms, lounges, and TV rooms are situated on each floor level.
