Roseville hosted a billiards tournament for residents in homes operated by CareMalta.
Despite the bad weather, residents who love the sport made it a point to attend and participate.
It was a hot final between Zammit Clapp and Roseville, with the latter team winning the tournament and receiving the trophy.
Both teams were very close until Anton Grima pocketed the black ball and won the game for Roseville and his team members! There were claps and cheers as the game ended.
Each home played around three games. All team members wore different coloured T-shirts and were accompanied by their active ageing facilitators.
The tournament was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Natalie Briffa Farrugia, CEO of the CareMalta Group, visited and presented the winning team with a trophy and all teams with medals.
The tournament was followed by a hearty lunch.
